Snow Days

Here are a few pictures of our snow days in January.  There wasn't as much snow as we'd like, but the kids had fun.  However, Harrison refused to keep his mittens on and cried when he fell down or touched the snow, so we couldn't stay outside for long.  There is no reasoning with a toddler.

Lily  couldn't wait to make a snow angel.

As always, Harrison had to mow the street.

Lily taking a break from shoveling the steps.  Our little helper.

We had a lot of days out of school for our little bit of snow.  Here are some ways that we kept busy during our snow days.

A picnic snack in the house we built.

Building towers and Legos.  I love this photo progression.  H. working so carefully...

proud of his work...

and so mad when it fell over.

Dot Art

Dancing

Painting a snow scene.

Here's Harrison admiring his work...

and showing it off to Lily.

Harrison is wearing a sweater that my Aunt Linda knitted for him.  I think it's so cute.

Lily had fun in the snow, but she says almost everyday that she can't wait for summer because she doesn't like the cold and wind.
