Here are some pictures from all of the parties and fun from the last few weeks of school.
Harrison had a Kindergarten music performance. The kids did a great job!

Lily completed her final school project by showing an act of kindness to the community. She decided to bake brownies for the HSFD, and they gave us a tour when we delivered the treats.
And after the tour, the kids were thrilled to see their names in print after being featured in our neighborhood magazine.
Lily's final dance class. She was amazing in her dance recital, but she's decided to go back to gymnastics in the fall. She really loved her teacher, Mrs. Carrie.
We participated in Oakview spirit night at the Salamander's baseball game.
After the game the kids ran the bases and one of the players gave Harrison a game ball for wearing a Hokie hat. He was thrilled!
Harrison's final soccer game of the season. The Foxes were 0-7 for the season, but Harrison still had a great time playing.
Lily's final week consisted of pool day, fort day, emoji day, and game day (with parents included). Mrs. Vaughan is an AMAZING teacher! We will miss her next year!
Game day! First, parents got to play a student created game. Lily's was called Puppy Place.
Next, we all went outside for a game of Kickball! And even though I haven't played since 6th grade-ish, I scored a goal for our team! Yes!
Looking serious in the outfield.
Back inside for popsicles, trivia, and end of year awards. Lily received the Most Organized Award.
The next day, I was back at school for Harrison's Letterland party. One of Harrison's favorite stations included knocking down cups with water guns.
Pin the tail on the Zebra.

Cheers to a great year!
Last day! Emoji day for Lily and pajama day for Harrison.
Final carpool drop off. They happily met up with friends, Heidi and Henry. It's hard to see, but Henry immediately wrapped his arm around Harrison as they walked, and Heidi and Lily are holding hands. So sweet!
Goodbye Kindergarten and 3rd grade! Another school year over in a blink. We are thankful for such a great neighborhood elementary school. 2017-18 was "Owlsome" as we say here at Oakview.
