Halloween Preparations and Family Visits

We decided not to carve pumpkins this year.  We decorated with paint and stickers instead.  I think the kids had much more fun this way.  Here are a few pictures of the kids painting pumpkins.

Harrison's first attempt at painting.  He worked very carefully on his little pumpkin.

Lily was in charge of painting the big pumpkin.  Aunt Melissa was here to watch a little bit of the process.

Here is our friendly pumpkin.  Lily named him Pumpkin Rock-a-saurus Monster.

Last weekend we were able to spend a little time with family.  First, Justin's parents spent one night with us on their way to Texas.

Also, my sister was visiting and my brother was home for Fall Break.  Schedules were busy, but we managed to have lunch together on Sunday.

Harrison had fun sliding on the leather chairs.

What a face!  Harrison will do anything to get Holly's attention.

Here is Lily making herself comfortable.

Photo op with Aunt Melissa.

This is how Harrison likes to watch football.

On Monday, Justin stayed home, and I enjoyed an evening out at The Pinnacle Awards presented by the American Society of Furniture Designers.  Dad and his Stanley Furniture team won two awards.  Congratulations, Dad!

Speech, speech!

As you can see, we've had a very busy October.
