Lily loves squeezing and hugging on him every chance she gets. Unfortunately, she's not always gentle, so we have to watch her carefully and give several reminders to hug him nicely.
Harrison's favorite activity is walking around the coffee table. He makes continuous circles and reaches for the remote excitedly. Harrison also loves balls and will roll a ball on command (this is so cute)! He also entertains himself by rolling or hitting the ball, crawling to get it, laughing, hitting it again, and taking off after it. He is so busy and active now that I think it is helping him sleep a little more during the day (though he is actively trying NOT to nap as I write this).
Harrison is also working hard to pull himself up on anything. In the next few pictures, he was so proud to show off to Mommy and Daddy while Lily was asleep. He would move to an object, look over and smile at us, pull himself up, and then give us another huge grin!
Lily's latest interest is finding out what every word starts with. I cannot count the number of times in a day that she spouts off word after word asking, "what does ___ start with?" Then she connects that word to another word of the same letter. "Oh, house starts with H like Harrison."
Here, Lily is showing Harrison how much fun our refrigerator magnets can be.
And here's a photo that is so reminiscent of Lily's early days. Anyone with a high chair or carseat within her reach will remember Lily's fascination with straps and buckles. Harrison has just found his high chair straps and loves to play with them too.
