Moana-themed food included crab sandwiches, island brownies, and cookies with Heart of Te Fiti symbol on them. We also had hot lava rock candy and coconuts.
Our party guests...Lily, Ava, Jacob, Harrison, Eliza, and Abby. We couldn't ask for a sweeter (and perhaps louder) group of girls. I think they all had a great time!

Getting ready for Moana!
On the 26th, we celebrated with a morning trip to Rise Donuts after swimming lessons, and play time with her friend Abby. Once Justin got home from work she opened her presents immediately because she just couldn't wait any longer. Harrison was so happy to give her water balloons (his idea) and she loved them! He also wrote her a very sweet card that said: Happy Birthday Lily! I am so glad that you have always been my sister. She also got a reading timer book mark for all of those school reading minutes we have to document each night, a mermaid doll to match her new bedding, and her one and only birthday request---a fidget spinner!
After dinner out (we went in search of corn dogs, which we found at Red Robin), we made a special stop at Cold Stone Creamery for her requested birthday desert. She did not want a cake this year.
Happy Birthday to our most favorite eight-year old! We love you bunches!
