Getting Ready for Christmas 2019

Our Christmas holiday in pictures!

Time to decorate!

Our visit with Santa at the Tanglewood Festival of Lights

Evelyn delivered her letter to Santa.  Harrison was very honest in his and admitted he wasn't good ALL year, but MOST of the year.

S'mores!

Lily and Evelyn played with the band for a bit.

We saw Santa!

We enjoyed Lily's chorus concert.  Evelyn knows most of the songs by heart and loves to sing along with Lily.

Joseph Gingerbread Kangaroo came back and had some fun at our house.

We made our gingerbread houses after Joseph asked us to.

And we baked and decorated Christmas cookies too.  Well, the girls helped me this year.  Harrison wasn't interested because he has decided that he does NOT like cookies.

I just love sharing all of these fun Christmas traditions with the kids each year!

Christmas, we are ready for you!

Thanksgiving 2019

This year we celebrated Thanksgiving at home.  The kids had fun making Oreo turkeys and it was nice to relax, watch the parade and football, and cook a smaller meal.

The kids all loved these!  One day after Thanksgiving, Evelyn caught me eating an Oreo from the package and said, "Oh, I want a turkey too!"  She knows a good thing when she tastes it.

The next day we went to the Chinese Lantern Festival.  The colors were absolutely beautiful, and we had a great time walking through.

The kids loved these swings.

And afterward, we stopped for some ice cream.

The week before Thanksgiving we visited with Grammy and Granddad.  We were all excited to finally meet our new cousin Rhys.  The kids just loved him, and were very excited to help feed him and hold him.  I know they will have lots of fun together during family visits and holidays!
